Building & Time Capsules
You will be pleased to know that demolition has begun on the old church hall site. There has been a short delay due to key services needing to be moved but the builders have moved in and have already started clearing the site. Check out the ariel view pictured on this page.
It is hoped that in the New Year we will have a foundation laying ceremony. Part of the event will include the sealing of a time capsule in the foundations of the building. Local schools will be asked if they would like to contribute some items for the capsule and it is hoped that this would be an occasion that will unite both the church and the community. The event will take place early next year where a selection of community, school and church representatives will be invited to take part in the occasion.
