New Year Message from the Vicar

If you were with us last Sunday at our 11am service you would have heard a

great message from our Youth worker Tim about how 2012 is going to be a year

of breakthrough; Breakthrough in our town... Breakthrough in our church...

and breakthrough in our lives. I wonder if you will join with me in praying

that into being!

 

You see as we look into 2012 it could be a bit daunting; the national and

international financial situation looks bleak, there is real pressure on

government spending, unemployment is on the rise.... but in the face of all

of that, I believe God is on the move, and for St Andrew’s and for Cullompton

2012 is going to be a really exciting year.

 

Some of our plans for 2012 already include; moving into the new centre and

really starting to see it flourish, appointing a new children's worker,

starting a new drop in for youth on a Sunday afternoon, seeing People Matter firmly established, running the Marriage Course, and of course continuing to see people beginning, and moving on in, their faith journeys.

 

So will you pray with me that 2012 is that year of breakthrough? And let's enjoy the ride!
