People Matter has new HQ

A work party created space to store our food and furniture.

We now have a small container to store furniture and space in the community centre’s basement to keep food, bedding and basic kitchen equipment. People Matter is our social action group which gives food and furniture to local people in need.

Our team spent a morning sorting out food in the basement – we welcome regular donations of food in our People Matter box at the back of church on Sunday mornings. We are also collecting printer cartridges for Tesco Clubcard points for our summer Crealy trip. Last year we took local families for a day out at the adventure park.

We also cleared out the container, which had been storing items since the church hall was demolished, and have started to put furniture in there. Details of suitable food and furniture to donate can be found at the back of church.
