Rachel Dunn, one of our Ordinands, has created an online version of 1st Thursday; please do feel most welcome to join us and make use of this valuable resource.

Below are the links to 8 prayer stations. Choose one and follow the link (underlined title) to gain access. Each prayer station includes a number of prayer boards with a Bible verse to inspire our prayers. All you have to do is choose one, press ‘+add new card’ below it and write in your prayer!

Unless you already have a Trello account, you will need to sign up in order to gain access, but it should be relatively painless! Hopefully, the first time you use a link, Trello will instruct you as to how to sign up.

Really looking forward to connecting with you in prayer!

Here are the stations:

Pause – come and be still. Take time with God. His Spirit is in you. Breathe. Can you feel it?

Reflect on God’s Word – John 6:63 “It is the spirit that gives life; the flesh is useless. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life.” May our prayers be fuelled by God’s Spirit and life in us, and inspired by His Word.

Ask for Prayer – This is a dedicated space to ask for prayer for neighbours, friends, family members who are in need at this time. Our God is the miracle worker!

Your Kingdom Come – Take time to reflect on the powerful words in the Lord’s prayer, letting it inspire your own prayers.

Prayers for the World – Our world is suffering. People are dying and grieving. It is our calling as the Church to follow the way of Jesus. 1 John 4:11-12 “Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No-one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.”

Celebrate Silver Linings – John 10:10 “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” Even in the most desperate situations, God’s hope enables us to live full and abundant lives. Let’s thank God for the good things we are seeing, even in the midst of pain.

Give it to God – 1 Peter 5:7 “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”

Ministries of St Andrew’s Church – Luke 4:18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free.” Nothing that God has called any one of us to do is worth anything without prayer.
