Baptisms & Dedications
Our warmest congratulations to you if you have recently experienced the arrival of a new child. Like many people at this stage of life, you may be looking for a way to thank God for giving you such an amazing gift.
We would love to offer you the opportunity to do just that with our special service for baptism or dedication. We encourage you to come along on a Sunday morning at 10.30 for coffee ahead of our 11am service, so we can meet you and give you a baptism pack. This contains further information about contacting us, Baptism preparation, explains more about what is involved and how to arrange a suitable date.
Once a year we have a baptism service for adults and teenagers, this includes confirmation, and gives an opportunity for people to declare before God, their family and friends, and the Church, that they are choosing to put their trust in Jesus, and want to follow him. If you have recently come to faith, or you want to know more, please contact us.
Weddings
Congratulations if you are planning to get married. Exciting times lie ahead and there is so much to think about.
If you are thinking about getting married at St Andrew’s we would love to help you. By filling out this form and returning it to the church office we can begin the process, and we’d love for you to come along and introduce yourself on a Sunday morning at 10.30 for coffee ahead of our 11am service.
Please contact the church office to find out the date of our next marriage preparation course.

Funerals
A funeral is used to mark the end of a person’s life here on earth. Family and friends come together to express grief, give thanks for the life lived and commend the person into God’s keeping. This can be a small, quiet ceremony or a large occasion in a packed church.
Please get in touch if you need to speak to someone about arranging a funeral and we will do all we can to help you in what we know is one of life’s most difficult times.
The Church of England website also provides information on planning a funeral and the funeral service.
Please call the church office on 01884 33249 or email the church office if you have any questions or if you want to discuss a baptism, wedding or funeral. We will be more than happy to help you.
