Teams are a great way to play a part in the life and vision of St Andrew’s. We want to be a church that serves and we can do that through our teams. They are also a great place to make new friends and have loads of fun. There are so many ways to get involved that there really is something for everyone.

At St Andrew’s we take safeguarding seriously and, therefore, joining certain teams may require going through a safer-recruitment process and sometimes a DBS check. You can view our safeguarding policy here.

Bell Ringing

Bell Ringing

If you would like to join the band and learn to ring please click here to contact our Tower Captain Chris Cozens.

The bells of St Andrew’s have been calling people to worship for church services, weddings, funerals, occasions of national importance and celebration, since the tower was added to the church in 1549.

Main ringing times are on Sundays before services:

9am to 9.30am

10:30am to 11am

5pm to 6pm (on occasions)

Our practice night is Mondays from 7pm to 8:30pm.  Visitors welcome, please contact us.

We have ten bells here at St Andrew’s, more information about the bells can be found here.

Worship & Production

Worship & Production

Worship is at the heart of everything we do – click here for more information.

If you are musically gifted and have a heart to serve in the area of worship, please do get in touch with Josh Baldwin our Worship Pastor click here.

Running the sound and visuals for a Sunday requires skill and precision. If you are tech-savvy, know your way around a sound desk, can operate a multi-media presentation or even if you’re just keen to learn, click here to let us know.

Children & Youth

Children & Youth

We want to see children and young people come to understand how much they are known and loved by God. Alongside mid-week activities such as socials, children’s clubs & toddler groups, Sunday groups are a great opportunity for young people to explore the Bible, make friends and feel at home.

If you’d like to know more about the children or youth teams contact Carrie Tucker click here or Josh Baldwin click here.

Hospitality

Hospitality

We want St Andrew’s to be a welcoming, friendly and enjoyable place to be in on a Sunday. The hospitality teams not only welcome and connect people in to the church, but they also serve tea, coffee and light refreshments.

If you make a mean cuppa, please let us know – click here.

DIY

DIY

Sometimes we assemble teams to do one-off tasks – anything from painting to just a good, old fashioned clear-out! These short, intense bursts of work are rewarding, fun and not to mention a great calorie-burner.

Please click here if you can help.

Praying

Praying

Prayer is the foundation of everything we do, and plan to do, at St Andrew’s. We would love to encourage you to join in with the prayer life here by praying for Cullompton, its people and how St Andrew’s can help the community.
