“When we pray, we open the door for God to come into our problems and situations and work on them.” Joyce Meyer
Prayer is simply a conversation with God; an opportunity to thank, praise, ask and grow in our relationship with Him.
Prayer and worship are essential and the foundation of everything we do at St Andrew’s and there are many opportunities to be involved in praying which include:
Praying together (Monday early morning prayers, The Persecuted Church)
Praying for and with individuals (Lighthouse Ministry, Prayer Ministry in every St Andrew’s service)
Praying for specific situations (Emergency Prayer Chain, Pastoral Care)
Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances for this is God’s will for you who belong in Christ Jesus.
(1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)
